Dream-chasing

Today, I kind of casually mentioned a subject that had been previously "discussed". A subject so near and dear to my heart it's almost painful. Honestly, a life long dream.

I didn't expect the conversation to go anywhere....

But he said, "Yeah, I think we should look in to it."

Who is this man? Where is my real husband?

I want to dance. And shout. And sing. And make phone calls. And search the internet. But a very real fear and a whole lot of doubt cause me to pause.

I'm afraid to be disappointed. Again.

I fear that God won't use me.

All I see is a mountain of sin and disappointment standing between me and my dream...

Just remember, dreams are a promise that you can change the world. So don't let fear stop you now.
~The Sidewalk Prophets

He's a big God.

And I know, He put this desire in my heart.

It's all about His will and His time.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. John 16:33

I hope you know that you've been used every day on the path to our dreams. Your steadfast encouragement has always been a gift, and your joy, contagious.

  2. So blessed to read this just now, to see that the Spirit everywhere is stirring God's people to step out in faith to do what they were created to do. Praying with you for this thing of eternal value.
